Million TREES Miami

Just like New York City or Los Angeles, Miami-Dade County has set the goal to plant One Million Trees in Miami to increase its canopy form a mere 14% to 30% before 2020. To reach this goal, the Community Image Division of the county has partnered with BioPlanet to find sponsors, promote a community awareness campaign, generate trees from seed through its workshops at work and school, and plant native trees to restore the natural ecosystems lost due to urban development and hurricane wind damage. For this project, we welcome all schools and companies to sponsor their forest and show the community their commitment to the environment.
